Member Spotlight: Nurzahan Rahman

New member Nurzahan Rahman specializes in editing, marketing communications, publishing and writing. She is the marketing content writer/publication manager at YellowFlag Productions. Currently studying for a Master’s degree in business data analytics, she resides in Warren.   

An avid humanities spokesperson, Nurzahan advocates for the importance of the humanities and the role of literature in developing a well-rounded, aware individual.

She joined AWC Detroit to help bring more awareness to communications and women in the field. She felt the organization aligned with her interests: passion for writing and communication, giving back, and networking.

Nurzahan would like to help others (including high school and college students) understand the value of writing and communication, and help them engage with and adapt to these areas, even in the world of technology and AI. She aspires to help the organization grow, assist in offering a proposition to attract younger members, and heighten the importance of communications.
