Meet our current member, Jennifer Hamilton. Jennifer was a Communications Manager at HarmonyCares (formerly U.S. Medical Management). She has experience in technical/creative writing, event planning and social media marketing as well as employee engagement and corporate communications. From 2021-2023, she served as the VP, Membership and Member Ambassador for the AWC Detroit Chapter and continues to look for opportunities to get involved.

She has experience in media and public relations as well as internal communications and employee engagement. She is an advocate for the AWC Detroit Chapter and enjoys the opportunity to network with our communications professionals.

She recently retired from WWJ 950 Newsradio following an impressive 30+ year career in media and is now the new Communications Director of Detroit. She is a strong voice for the voiceless and continues her weekly "Black Business Minute" podcast.
