Member Spotlight: Katherine (Kate) Avery

Katherine (Kate) Avery is a nurse, educator, and digital entrepreneur with more than 15 years in healthcare. She is the CEO and podcast host at Inspire RN, the passion project she created in 2023 to inspire others to create the lives they deserve to live, accepting nothing less than their dream lives.

“I enjoy learning and exploring all aspects of health,” she stated. “My clinical and holistic knowledge has helped me improve my own health and the health of others for years now.”

Kate’s podcast has over 60 episodes that focus on wellness, mental health, entrepreneurship, and life transformation, using research and experience in functional and integrative medicine, gut healing, weight loss, Reiki, and spiritual practices.

In December she will earn her degree of Doctorate Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan. Her previous degrees were a Bachelor Science Nursing from Ohio University and Associate of Nursing from Oakland Community College.

“I’m so excited to start this new chapter of life and exploration,” she concluded.
