Meet our current member, Laura Mastrangelo. Laura is a Marketing Manager at 4Flow. She has experience in marketing strategy, social media, branding, website redesigns, and web content writing (including SEO). She is an advocate for the AWC Detroit Chapter and enjoys meeting other women who have a passion for what they do and willing to help like-minded communications professionals.

Meet our current member, Jennifer Hamilton. Jennifer was a Communications Manager at HarmonyCares (formerly U.S. Medical Management). She has experience in technical/creative writing, event planning and social media marketing as well as employee engagement and corporate communications. From 2021-2023, she served as the VP, Membership and Member Ambassador for the AWC Detroit Chapter and continues to look for opportunities to get involved.
Meet our current member, Patricia "Pat" Anstett. Pat is a semi-retired medical writer for Patricia Anstett Communications. Her discipline expertise includes 40 years in the newspaper industry with strong journalism skills, including writing and editing. She enjoys being an AWC member where she feels supported in her career and received nominations for several top awards.
Meet our current member, Carol Cooper. Carol is a professor and chair for mass communications at Rochester University. Her discipline expertise ranges from broadcast journalism and media writing to video production. She enjoys being an AWC member where she has opportunities to network and receive supports from other communications professionals.
Meet new member, Rachelle Graham. Rachelle is a senior communications manager for the Detroit Zoo. Prior to exploring opportunities in communications/public relations, Rachelle was a multimedia journalist and news anchor. She is excited to be part of the AWC Detroit Chapter, learning about best practices and networking.
Meet new member, Laura L’Esperance. Laura has been a communications, public relations and branding professional for the entirety of her 25+ year career, working with nonprofits, municipalities and global financial services organizations. She is passionate about women’s empowerment—especially encouraging and supporting them in running for public office. She is excited about her new AWC membership and looking forward to meeting like-minded people as well as taking advantage of the interesting educational content AWC provides.

Meet new member, Lisa Rotarius. Lisa is a full-time mom, undergraduate student in the mass communications field, and part-time administrator for Real Estate One. She enjoys volunteering for major non-profits like Habitat for Humanity, Wigs for Kids, the Special Olympics Fall Games, and Forgotten Harvest. When she isn't volunteering, studying, cooking, or raising her daughter, she is excited about her new AWC membership where she can network with other AWC members, be part of supportive community, and develop professionally.
