According to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than 6 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease, the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S., with deaths having increased 145 percent between 2000 and 2019.

“It’s never too early to start protecting your brain against this devastating disease, but it can be too late,” said Memory Health’s Managing Partner Edward Shehab. Unfortunately, Shehab learned this lesson while having lunch with his mother one day and realizing she no longer recognized him. She was in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s disease and was speaking to Edward as if he was a stranger.

Edward was devastated and determined to find a way to use his entrepreneurial expertise to join the fight in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease. So, he began to research the disease, along with treatment and prevention options. Along the way, Edward found Memory Health, a premium nootropic with 20 years of research behind it.

Memory Health has been tested in several double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials where it has been shown to have a positive effect on brains in a variety of conditions – young, old, healthy and those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. It was further identified that Alzheimer’s patients who were prescribed Memory Health maintained cognitive abilities and quality of life, including functional benefits in memory, sight, and mood. These results were published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, which called Memory Health a “glimmer of hope” in the fight against the disease.

Edward was so impressed with Memory Health, he bought part of the Birmingham, Michigan-based company and became its managing partner. He and his family – including his two children – take the product daily.

Memory Health has received four patents, including a formula patent and three treatment patents, specifically for the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative disease, including Alzheimer’s and dementia in humans, from the U.S., the U.K. and Ireland. Memory Health has also received a supplement quality and stability certification.

Edward wants to get the message about this “glimmer of hope” to as many people as possible. Because not only is Memory Health a solution for Alzheimer’s and dementia, but it has also been shown to be an impactful option for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) sufferers, for pregnant and menopausal women and for anyone suffering from brain fog due to chemotherapy, illness or aging.

Memory Health is a nutritional-based supplement, containing all-natural active ingredients, including the carotenoids lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin, powerful plant-based nutrients found in leafy greens like spinach, kale and broccoli that reduce inflammation, neutralize free radicals and reduce oxidative stress on the brain.

The supplement also includes omega-3s (DHA and EPA), essential fatty acids vital for maintaining healthy brain function and linked to healthy aging, which can be found in nuts, whole grains, some meats, poultry and fish. Lastly, it contains Vitamin E, an antioxidant found in vegetable oils, nuts and seeds and, again, those dark leafy greens.

Even with healthy diets, this nutritional supplementation is necessary because foods don’t contain as much nutritional value as they used to. According to USDA data, just one bowl of spinach in 1953 had the same nutritional value as more than 43 bowls of spinach today.

The nutrition provided in Memory Health is enough to keep your brain healthy, improve your cognitive function, reduce your brain fog, improve your mood and enhance your focus, all the while working to prevent Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia.

“I hope to help people avoid those incredibly painful moments like I experienced with my mother,” Edward says of his dedication to promoting brain health and fighting neurodegenerative disease. “That is my commitment. As I always say: it’s never too early to take care of your brain but it can be too late.”
